I went to Pulau Ketam, Klang on last Sunday. Pulau Ketam is one of our tourism places that famous on seafoods. It is really a nice place to visit.
But I am disappointed when I saw this.
The river is being polluted. You can also see a lot of floating junk spotted at the riverbank. The rubbish consists of food waste, plastic materials, mineral water bottles, containers, vehicle tyres and others.
Please do not littering. We should keep our islands clean. Throw rubbish into rubbish bins, not to the rivers!

This is awful. Spoil the appetite. Malaysians are still not environmentally savvy. We won’t know what we lose until it’s too late.
Psst, no food pics?
keeyit || Correct.. Actually I had the seafood lunch before took this picture.
Yeah, I am still processing the photos and will up it soon..
What an eye sore! To be in a scene like this, I already lost all my appetite lah.
keeyit || Too bad right..
We need more environmentalist. You can be one…and I can too. I’m worry about our earth.
keeyit || Everyone just need to do their own resposibility to save our earth.
Ohh No!! That was ugly. Maybe they should put a sign not to litter into the river, but I don’t why. It seems that ‘these’ people prefer to stick with their ‘who-cares’ attitude. Save our river!!
keeyit || Yeah, you are right. Even we put a sign board on not to litter. They will do that still !
What a sad picture. Wow, how could it come to that?
keeyit || Human attitude on “who cares?”
sad but we still glad that we not the Worst polluted places on earth…
keeyit || That’s why we should save our earth before it’s too late..
What a sad picture! Too often when a place or an industry is booming, the environment takes a backseat. It’s a challenge to get developers to build green.
keeyit || Yeah.. but at least users should aware not to get the place become worse..
Selangor has been declared a developed state. How can this happen???? It just prove that we can only talk but no action.
NATO State????.
keeyit ||
Only talk and no action..
I went to Pulau Ketam two weeks ago and saw the same thing. Imagine having tourist from all over the world to see the “dirtiness” in us (as Malaysians). And the saddest thing is: no one cares! *sigh*
keeyit || Ohh.. so ngam.. hehe.. Not only there are rubbish everywhere, the water also polluted..
i SICK of this scene…… No one will ever care what happen to earth, to our environment. No matter how I tell my friend, they just don’t do it. “Why save electricity? I have money to pay what?”, “Why reduce plastic usage? It’s free what?” I think really need government to control electricity rate and set price for EACH plastic bag……
keeyit || These are the attitude of “Who-cares?”
So nice you guys can go to Pulau Ketam, and back with one piece too!
If want nice seafoods and better view, you guys must come to Taiping > Kuala Sepetang! It is a nice place!
keeyit || Ok, then next time..
So when ?
Hahaha…I remember this part of Pulau Ketam which looks really really dirty!
keeyit || Haha.. really dirty !
I couldn’t understand some parts of this article s Wonderful Life, but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.
