My housie, Sean always idealizes LOHAS concept. He always has organic food. He read LOHAS magazines every month. He goes to JusLife stores at SS2 and The Curve to buy the organic stuffs. He even went for electron protection therapy.
Every weekend, we will go for grocery shopping at hypermarket. Previously we used to brought a lot of plastic bags back home and throw them away. Recently, we used recycle bags to put our grocery stuffs rather than using plastic bags. We will only use the plastic bags as absolutely necessary cases and reuse the plastic bags for wastebasket.
These were all the grocery that we bought last Saturday.
There were all fit into a recycle bags (purple colour bag).
Previously, we used to put our grocery at plastic bags.
Say NO to plastic bags and use recycle bags while shopping. Always do our own responsibility to save environment and cut waste. Being environmentally aware is a great way to honour our mother earth.

I have just heard from the radio today about recycle bags. I have been wondering whether I am not “green” enough cos I use plastic bags for all my trash bins. Do you know of other ways to do this in a “green way” and at the same time still maintain the hygiene?
keeyit || I am also like you.. using the plastic bags for my trash bins too. Still learning on how to be more “green”. I think the other way is do not waste our food so that we do not need to throw away those waste food..

I have been using my own bags for shopping for the past 2 years. It’s good that people are more aware of our environmental issues and are doing their parts to save it. Let’s start today and conserve our Earth for our future generations.

I usually don’t give it much thought.. but then my mother never throws anything away. Even the milkmaid empty can also she recycled and use as tong sampah. *roll eyes* How to have nice decor like that?

To protect our Mother Earth, we need to practice recycling.
The craze caused by “I am am not a Plastic Bag” created great extend awareness.
In some countries, they charged you for each plastic bag to discourage you from asking for plastic bag and to bring you own shopping bag.

I think company like carrefour n jaya jusco are using bio degradeable plastic.
Just keep them for a few months and they break into pieces.

good on ya! I bring my grocery bags to the supermarket too, whenever I can. no plastic bags if I can help it, but sometimes I do get them when I run out of garbage bags! heheh…
