The couple made their vows to each other in front of their family and friends with the presence of God in the church.
Last Saturday, my family and I attended my cousin’s wedding in church at Malacca. This was my first time to attend a wedding in church. I used to watch the wedding ceremony on those TVB drama series.
For me, a church wedding is a religious ceremony in a holy place in which the bride and groom have their marriage blessed with the presence of God. This is also a public declaration to family and friends of the love and commitment. I always think that wedding in a church is really romantic. 
There were prayers, Bible readings, signing of the register marriage certificate and other activities on that day. The wedding ceremony took about 3 hours to complete and we proceed to a Chinese restaurant for part 2 wedding ceremony.
From today onwards, they will embark on a life long journey together. Congratulations to them and wish them live with love and understanding.

The bride’s pink gown looks pretty, it’s refreshing to see the bride’s gown is not white, normally it’s usually white when it’s a church wedding. Best wishes on the newly married couple!:)

Oh hahaha, forgive me, I think I got that wrong, I was looking at the second picture of the couple, the bride did wore a white gown on the top pic:)

I remember attending a church wedding for the first time too, it was also my cousin’s. Not too long ago too. Very coincidental hehe. It was an interesting experience, with the pianist playing the grand piano throughout the proceedings (got intervals also lah). The wedding march song also played live by the pianist and I thought it was really nice.

Church wedding in Malaysia lacks some charm no matter what if compared to their European counterparts. From the outlook,, the architecture of Malaysian churches is simple and the interiors are nothing to shout about, except those colonial ones and those historical ones in Malacca.

I can understand why u feel romantic about church wedding. It is said that all human beings are created with a God-shaped vacuum. There is an inherent vacuum in our hearts and when it comes to an important event like a wedding, we feel this even more because God is near.
