Les Studio and mYoga
I have been attending yoga class almost everyday since last year May. It is about 9 months already. This month, a few of my yoga friends told me that they want to quit Les Studio and joined mYoga at the Garden, Mid Valley.
There are a few reasons why they want to leave.
1st, a few of Les studio yoga instructor have been left to mYoga.
2nd, the quality of the Les studio not so good if compared with last time.
3rd, students can enjoy unlimited yoga classes with high class yoga room.
4th, the facilities such as unlimited WiFi internet access, sauna & steam room, café for coffee & meals, bath room & changing room and more are also the main attraction.
5th, the fees are RM180 for 2 years commitment although a bit more than what we currently have now RM70 BUT still worth it on the mYoga environment.
My ex colleagues who are always accompany me walked back to LRT station everyday after the yoga class also decided to sign up at mYoga. This means that next time I have to go back by myself.
You may ask why I am not joining them ? Hmm.. Location is not convenience for me. Some more, I rather go home fast after my yoga class and do not like to stay back to enjoy the facilities.
So, now I am thinking to ride my motorbike to Les Studio. I cannot always depend on others, I have to be brave and go by myself.
Join Fitness First~ we go together~~ yaya
keeyit || FF ar ? No la.. I only like yoga !
I can’t imagine when you riding the bike’s look
Anyway, RM70 is much more cheaper than RM200 if you don’t want to enjoy other facilities….
keeyit || yeah, $$ also another issues that I do not want to join mYoga..
Independence sounds like a good thing too…
keeyit || hehe.. yeah.. I should learn to go there by bike.
Please be careful if you’re all by yourself.
I have something to ask you. Is it true that we cannot simply take up yoga…meaning like I want to learn yoga by myself it’s quite dangerous because I don’t know how to do deep breathing, etc? Coz I have an old yoga book and am thinking about learning it myself but my mom said dangerous lo in case I twisted yourself..hehe
keeyit || Yeah correct ! Before I joined yoga class, I used to buy books and VCD to learn by myself. It won’t work because you cannot hold on those postures for long as in the class you have to do that. After all, you need to learn correct postures so that you won’t twisted yourself. Furthermore, not every posture is suitable for everyone. In the class, yoga instructor can help you to adjust your postures so that you can gain more benefit from that too..
Well, looks like you have to make adjustments to your yoga
life. Riding motorcycle is a bit danderous.

keeyit || I know it is dangerous. I think I should be able to do that and becareful always.
Same situation for YogaZone - not only the teachers went to mYoga, also the consultants. But I feel that the people in mYoga are more stuck up, probably they only target on rich customers that stay around that area. I went there once for trial but don’t really like it.
keeyit || Ooo.. you went for the trial.. My yoga friends also went for trial then sign up immediately as they like the environment.. For me, nola.. you know you got to commit for 2 years just for RM180. Now, only RM70 monthly without any commitment. If I want to quit then anytime lol..
it’s too dangerous for gal to ride motorbike nowadays.. think again~
keeyit || hmm.. yeah i know.. i will becareful.. thanks for your concern.
THe old yoga centre is nearer to your place is it?
I can understand how you feel. You go to the class after a hard day’s work and naturally you’ll like to get home ASAP and rest. Like others said, becareful riding your bike lor…
keeyit || yeah, quite near to my house actually about 15 minutes if ride motorbike. Yeah lo.. I still like to stay at home rather than hang around at yoga center
What about True Fitness in Jaya 33? I think they are famous for yoga right. Maybe you can go for a 7 days free trial. Btw, I’m not attached to them.
keeyit || Actually the distance quite same.. I only want to go for center that specialize for yoga
RM180 and RM70…quite big difference leh. If you don’t use those extra facilities then probably not worth it loh. Wooo~~~riding motorbyte to YOGA, very cool leh!
keeyit || Yeah lo.. $$ also one of the reason..
Hmm. I haven’t been able to keep up with my own yoga classes. Not determined enough. Doing it alone is kinda boring also. :/
keeyit || yeah, doing alone really boring.. that’s why must go for classes…
I see great determination on you. If it’s me, it would be either I follow the gang, or I quit yoga…
Jia you!
keeyit || hehe.. thanks !
Hello keeyit! How are you?
Still remember me?
It has been a long time I didn’t track your post. It is great to hear that you join yoga? Wow! Then you must be very good in it?
^_^
keeyit || yeah. sure i remember you la.. hehe.. thanks for coming ya
I joined yoga for quite some times lol..
Riding a bike is of cos more convenient, but do take extra care hor. Ever thinking of buying a small Kancil? Cheaper maintenance and can shield you from rain and sun too.
keeyit || I have car actually but at my hometown as my mum needs to use it.. somemore I do not really need it for work lol..
hey’ i’m quite interested in the garden’s yoga. thanks for sharing. i wonder if there’s any additional charges. RM180 for 2 years that’s all?? how many classes per month? LOL sorry for the many questions.
keeyit || Actually I am not too sure on mYoga.. I din go for trial before
which one? In tmn Megah wan ah ?
Wah u happening ,,ride motobike wan!
keeyit || Taman Megah les studio.. yah.
Ya, be good girl and independent.
keeyit || Yes.. hehe
Ya Kee Yit, be brave and independent! But always be awake and alert. Take care! I know you can do it.
keeyit || thanks ya alice !
Hi there, I bumped into your website while doing some research on which yoga centre to go to. Could you please email me to let me know of your experience at Les Studio? I’ve been wanting to sign up for some time but haven’t. Would love to know particularly, the quality of the instructor(s). Thanks!
