Ching Ming Goodies
Ching Ming Festival, as we named it as “Remembrance of Ancestors Day” or ‘Grave Sweeping Day’ falls on 5th of April every year. Look at the Ching Ming goodies that we bought for prayers. There were clothes, shoes, accessories and the most important one was money.
I saw people bought LV bags, bungalow, car, wine, computer, handphone, drivers, laptop, books and many other Qing Ming goodies for their ancestors. Nowadays, those Qing Ming goodies also go for trendy and modern version. How about medical card? Or should I burn the American Home Shield home warranty for them too ? 
Those paper boxes goodies have to burn for our ancestors. Traditionally, we believe that our ancestors can receive the goodies from this method.
How about you Qing Ming Festival? What do you all prepare for this traditional festival? Have you bought those Qing Ming goodies too? Come and share with me ya 
If I see I’ll buy the PDA for my ancestors this year. Maybe they’ll sms/text me 4D numbers or something

I went this morning too, we reached at 6AM and there’re so many people there already. And I miss him much
When I was a teenager, I learned from my mom’s friend in Singapore that people celebrate Ching Ming within 10 days before or after April 5. They don’t celebrate it on the real day. Is that true? I hope it is true because it is my special day.
I went to Nilai Memorial for the Qing Ming today. So many people… I saw bing big bungalows… many types of cars and motorbikes (all paper-made, of course). And the place to burn all these offerings also not enough… overflow liao, so most of us burn on the floor, outside the burning area. So messy, when win blew the ashes everywhere… But really, too many people liao. Traffic jam while entering from Highway… find parking was even more difficult.
Actually, I dun really like to do all these burning because it causes pollution and global warming. But this has been our tradition hundred years ago. What to do?
