I watched this movie last Saturday at One Utama as Sean got free movie tickets from his friend. We thought we can get the seats easily as this is an old movie for few months ago and nobody wants to watch it again. Who knows? All the seats were sold out and we have to wait for the reservation seats to be released!
Initially, I told Sean that I won’t purposely go to cinema and waste my RM10 just for another Singaporean movie. Since it is free then OK la..
Surprisingly, I started to like this movie after the show started for few minutes. All of the audiences laughed from the start till the end of the movie. After the show, I have a thought “yeee.. not bad wor.. the movie quite nice..”
I like the durian scene at the Jalan Imbi when those ah Longs having durian futsal competition. Another scene that I like is where both of them came out from the manure pit.
There was one conversation in the movie which I felt quite humour which was “You ask your mother lie down here and then tomorrow you will call me as your father.”
They make great comedies in Singapore. Malaysia really ‘tak boleh’ in this area.

I have not watched this movie yet, but I heard that it is quite funny.
At first, I though the the girl is the teacher who got married to a gangster since I did not pay much attention to the poster.
Then I realize, the guy is the teacher, the lady is the gangster!

This movie got very bad reviews and I forbade my son to watch it. Oops…. So far friends who watched said it is hilarious.

i think they’re simple and really light comedies. although some of the old s’pore movies can be pretty predictable sometimes
keeyit || Yeah.. the story lines can be predicted, I agreed that.. I just feel funny about those conversations in the movie.

Really nice lor! From the beginning I laughed till the ends, and I just seems to get enough.. Planned to watch the second time, but need to wait for the show to be able for download. Hehe!
