Lei Cha Organic shop SS2
Have you tried Lei Cha before? Lei Cha, 擂茶 is one of the Hakka dishes that eat with Hakka tea-based beverage or gruel consisting of a mix of tea leaves that are grounded with grains and nuts.
I love to eat Lei Cha very much. My mum can make good and tasty Hakka Lei Cha. I love to eat Lei Cha too as it is good for health. For those who want to do detoxification, Lei Cha is the best food to do the preparation.
I am not going to share the Lei Cha that made by my mum BUT just last week I went to one organic shop at SS2 with my colleagues for Lei Cha.
Overall, I rate this as 3 stars as it doesn’t have nuts. For me, nuts play a main role while eating Lei Cha. Furthermore, the green tea soup doesn’t have the taste of mint. Maybe I am too used to the traditional Hakka Lei Cha that made by my mum.. ![]()

I tried once when I was a child. I was so excited putting all those bits and pieces onto my plate, they looked so yummy, but the minute I put them in my mouth I almost puke. No offence. Hehehehe. It was bitter and smell funny too. However, I would luv to try again if oppoturnity comes one day.
keeyit || Correct.. there are strong smell and taste of mint and tea.. Not many people like to eat Lei Cha.. Especially those who like sweet stuffs.. Lei Cha got bitter taste.. haha.. nvm next time got chance I cook Lei Cha for you la…
