Tentative Date

Normally when dealing with action items that need to be done in the project, I used to call or write email to the respective parties to ask for tentative date.
Today I learnt something new. I should give them the tentative date instead of asking them to provide me the date.
Should I say that’s new? Maybe this is just a small matter for you all. BUT for me, I think I experienced this kind of situation before and I forget how I react on this. Hmm.. It is time for me to revise this.

I think that is the correct way of doing it
Tell them what is the tentative date you think you will be able to do it
keeyit || They should provide me a date when they can complete on it in this situation. BUT, actually I can be more initiative to give them an expected date instead of waiting them to give me.
We learn new things everyday. Why is it tentative? It should be target date for completion.
keeyit || Hahhahaa.. yeah.. for project, date is really a critical issue.
just say you’ll get it when it’s done!
keeyit || Ehh.. no.. I will be goreng by other lo…
Who give who also not important la…. but if u give, mean u lead them lo….
keeyit || Hmm.. right oo
Yep, definitely taking charge better, that way you can almost always make sure you are on top of it. That’s your hand? Nice hand wor.
keeyit || Not mine la.. hehe
Well, i guess when you tel them, you should write Tentative Date. but when you ask them to provide a date, you should write Expected Date.Am I right???
keeyit || Yes, you are right !
