Herbs Farm
Since the time when my uncle had cancer, my parents started to learn having Chinese herbs as our daily health care.(保健).
Furthermore, my dad always has high cholesterol and oily food which we also scared he will have heart disease. So, my mum always prepares some herbs drinks for him to control the cholesterol level. We always drink 鱼腥草and 金银花to reduce the “heat” inside our body.
Last Sunday, I went to half day herb farm visit with my family. I feel that’s an interesting place. I found that some common plants that we see it everywhere near the roadside can be categorized as herbs.
The herbs specialist also told us some good points on healthcare.
1. Eat moderately
2. Make sure everyday must go defecation
3. Must go for medical checkup every 2 years
4. Take care of our blood pressure
5. Be happy always and have a good laugh everyday
He also shared with us some healthy home dishes that we can easily prepare.
Would you ever think of cook the eggs with kertas bunga? Would you ever think of cook some fried cactus?
Let’s my mum try it first and I will let you know how’s the taste like ya. ![]()
